Joint bolts can be used for connecting two pieces of slotted aluminium in a 90 degree angle.

Tap the existing hole in the one piece.
Drill a small hole for the Alan-key in the second piece.
Fasten the bolt with the Alan-key.

Note for use with 40 and 80 series aluminium.
